The method

Why our work stays flat for decades
The bit you never see

A patio is only as good as what's underneath it. We're happy to show you our jobs mid-build — proper groundwork is the difference between paving that's perfect in twenty years and paving that sinks in two.

Setting out and excavation for a new driveway
Compacted stone sub-base ready for paving
01 / Set out

Survey & set out

String lines, levels and falls agreed before a spade goes in. We measure twice — the quote you receive is itemised and fixed.

02 / Dig

Excavate & sub-base

Full-depth excavation, then compacted stone in layers. This is where the lifespan of your paving is actually decided.

03 / Lay

Lay, cut & finish

Every unit laid to line and level, borders cut by hand, joints finished, site swept. We don't call it done until you love walking on it.

"You hire the person, not the brand. The hands that measure your garden are the same hands that lay the last flag."
